INTRODUCTION TO KALEIDOSCOPE PATCHWORK
Full Day Workshop

Student's Supply List:  Notepad and pen, scissors and/or rotary cutter and mat, portable sewing machine and extension cord.  Instructor will provide colored pencils, worksheets and grids.

Fabric:  Bring fat quarters or 1/2-yard lengths of 16 or more fabrics.  Select fabrics with personality in at least four-color families you find pleasing together.  Some prints can have strong designs, others may have subtle patterns.  Have some solids that blend & some that provide contrast.  Vary tones and shades in each color family (all fabrics do not have to coordinate).  Have a few light fabrics, but mostly medium and dark fabrics in each color family.  

Optional:  One yard of flannel for design board.

For the workshop I need:  White/dry erase board or chalkboard with eraser, display table, two irons and ironing boards.
