COLORING WITH FABRIC IN CREATIVE PATCHWORK 
Full Day Workshop

Student's Supply List:  Notepad and pen, scissors and/or rotary cutter and mat, portable sewing machine, and extension cord.  Instructor will provide colored pencils, worksheets and design grids.

Fabric:  Bring15 to 18 fat quarters from three or four color families you like.  Select prints that vary in scale or visual texture.  All fabrics do not have to coordinate.  Have a few lights, but mostly medium and dark fabrics in each color family.  Rich active prints can be combined with stripes, geometrics, paisleys, and subtle tone-on-tones.  Vary shades within solids or hand-dyed fabrics, if used.

Optional:  One yard flannel for design board.

For the workshop I will need:  White/dry erase board or chalk board with eraser, eraser, display table, two irons and ironing boards.
