LOG CABINS ON POINT
Full Day Workshop

Student's Supply List:  Notepad and pen, scissors, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, sewing machine, extension cord and basic sewing kit.   Instructor will provide colored pencils, worksheets and grids. 
Optional:  6" or 6 1/2" square ruler.

Fabric:  No need to purchase fabrics to match a specific quilt.  Several quilts will be shown as examples.  Bring a total of 12 to 16 fat quarters in three or four color families you like together. Select one color family that could be used in background blocks.  Select some fabrics for varied scale of designs or visual texture, others for subtle patterns, and solid-like fabrics that blend or provide contrast to the prints. Vary tones, shades--very few lights, bring mostly mediums and darks within each color family.

For the workshop I will need:  Name tags for students, white/dry erase board (instructor will provide markers and eraser), display table, two irons and ironing boards.
