INNOVATIVE LOG CABIN COURTHOUSE STEPS
Full Day Workshop

Student's Supply List:  Notepad and pen, scissors and/or rotary cutter and mat, medium-sized ruler, portable sewing machine, extension cord.  Instructor will provide colored pencils, worksheets and grids.  Optional:  6" or 6 1/2" square ruler.

Fabric:  Select 16 to 18 fat quarters in three or four color families. All fabrics need not match or coordinate; there should be some contrast (mostly mediums & darks with a few lights in each color family).  One of the color families may be needed for background blocks.  With the printed fabrics, vary the scale of prints, splotches, crinkles, stripes, dots and geometrics. Vary tones, shades and richness within the solids, batiks or hand-dyed fabrics.

For the workshop I will need:  White/dry erase board or chalk board with eraser, display table, two irons and ironing boards.
