INNOVATIVE LOG CABIN COURTHOUSE STEPS
Full Day Workshop

Student's Supply List:  Notepad and pen, scissors, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, sewing machine, extension cord and basic sewing kit..  Instructor will provide colored pencils, worksheets and grids. 
Optional:  6" or 6 1/2" square ruler.

Fabric:  Select a total of 16 to 18 fat quarters in three or four color families. All fabrics need not match or coordinate; there should be some contrast (mostly mediums & darks with a few lights in each color family).  One of the color families may be needed for background blocks.  With the printed fabrics, vary the scale of prints, splotches, crinkles, stripes, dots and geometrics. Vary tones, shades and richness within the solids, batiks or hand-dyed fabrics.

For the workshop I will need:  Name tags for students, white/dry erase board (instructor will provide markers and eraser), display table, two irons and ironing boards.
